The Fabulous SwampSnakes are a four-piece comprising:
Formerly called the JB Band, the combo is formed from experienced musicians with a recording and extensive gigging background. The Band has been together for about 4 years playing their variety of rock classics and harder edged blues covers, doing about 20 gigs a year in pubs and clubs as far a field as Reading, Stevenage, London, Daventry and Northampton.
The repertoire includes songs from such luminaries as, Free, Bad Company, Eric Clapton, Dr. Feelgood, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Status Quo and the Dandy Warhols, to name a few.
The SwampSnakes have been around the block enough times to know that good music is what makes a good band and playing something that people can tap their feet to is what makes a good evening. It says something that the local establishments renowned as good music venues keep asking them back!
